Neuromodulators like Botox®, by Allergan are injected into the skin to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for a smooth, rejuvenated appearance. There are many factors that lead to the development of these lines and wrinkles besides aging alone. Lines and wrinkles form because of facial muscle use. Whenever we make expressions like smiling, squinting, frowning or pursing of the lips, we are engaging the facial muscles and the skin creases as a result, forming a line. Over time, these lines form permanent wrinkles and aid in giving the face an aged appearance.
Neuromodulators, like Botox®, are injectable products that are injected directly into the desired muscle, blocking the release of acetylcholine which is the chemical that signals the muscle to contract. When the signal is blocked, the muscle does not contract at all or as strong, preventing the creasing that causes the lines and wrinkles to form. Botox® is an FDA-approved medication that can safely treat lines and wrinkles lasting 3-4 months.

Botox® is one of several brands of injectable medications. There are also other brands called Xeomin®, Jeuveau ® and now DAXXIFY®. While these drugs are different, they have a similar effect; relaxing the muscles in the treatment area to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and preventing wrinkles from forming.
Botox® injections are FDA approved to last 3-4 months.
Botox® can be used for the following:
Lines and wrinkles on the forehead, between the brows (the “11’s”), around the eyes (crow’s feet), wrinkles on the nose (bunny line’s), gummy smile, lip flip, chin dimpling, TMJ for relief of jaw pain from grinding, turned down mouth, neck lines, platysmal bands and even lines of the décolletage. Injections can also be done for migraines and excessive sweating, called hyperhidrosis.

Botox® injections are safe, and are used for a variety of medical conditions apart from reducing the appearance of wrinkles. Botox® must be administered by a medical professional. As with any drug, there are possible side effects. The most common are swelling, bruising, irritation, and soreness at the injection site. These are temporary and resolve on their own in a few days. Rarer side effects, like headaches and drooping in areas surrounding the injection site, can happen. The best way to avoid these side effects is to have your injection done by a highly trained and specialized medical professional. Our staff is trained to provide these injections safely and in a clean and welcoming environment.
Botox® treatments may involve several injections, depending on the areas treated. Botox® injections start to take effect in 7 days and full effect in 14 days. You need to wait 2 weeks to see the full result.

We ask that for any reason you are needing to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you please give us a minimum of 48 hrs notice by calling or texting our office at the numbers below. We must notify our staff of changes and it gives those waiting for a cancellation or opening to take advantage. We understand that life happens and some emergencies may make it difficult or not possible to give sufficient notice, if this is one of those cases please let our staff know so that we can waive any cancellation or missed appointment fees.
Any appointment that is a no-show or a late cancellation without 48 hrs notice will incur a $50 charge. This charge is to cover our staffing costs. If you are being charged with a late cancellation or no-show fee, a separate invoice will be sent to you. If you do not receive a separate invoice, we have waived the fee.

All sales are final. This includes purchases of products and services as well as any prepaid services. If for medical reasons you are not able to use a prepaid service, it may be transferred to another service of equal or lesser value or transferred to another client.
We always want to provide a safe and relaxing environment for all of our guests. With that being said, we have a gentle ask of our valued clients. We ask that if you are coming in for an appointment that is longer than 15 minutes, we ask you please leave your children at home. It can be very distracting to our service providers providing a medical procedure with needles and/or medical equipment if young children are roaming the room or running through our space. It is not safe and very distracting. It can also be very distracting to our guests that are enjoying relaxing services in a quiet environment. If you are not able to come in without children, you will be responsible for monitoring your children in our space.
If at any point safety is a concern, we will need to reschedule your appointment. Safety is our top priority as well as providing a quality experience for all of our guests. We appreciate your attention to this and for your cooperation. Thank you for allowing us to serve you.
